Ladies Tea: 'Sugar and Spice' in Brampton, ON
Sharon planned a ladies tea in Brampton, inviting Lisa, Toronto Ratanak Rep, to share about Cambodia.
They had spicy tea and a special Cambodian coconut cake to enjoy as they learned about how they could get involved with supporting exploited women and girls. Their gathering of 35 ladies raised $300 that day, and many who attended are continuing to be involved with the work Ratanak is doing in Cambodia. Read more.....

POSTED FROM CAMBODIA. This update is done as two videos. Please be sure to watch both for the one update.

Brian McConaghy, Founding Director of the Ratanak Foundation, provides an introduction to this website as we strive to capture and deal with the issues of Cambodia. We hope you will find this video helpful.

The goal of the Ratanak Foundation is simple: To help the Cambodian people rebuild their country and in so doing show them the love of Jesus Christ in a tangible way. We seek out the very best agencies to work with, agencies that truly love and understand the people.
- Care for Exploited Children
- Provide Medical Services
- Provide Outreach Programs to Prisons
- Care for Orphans
- Help Families in Crisis
- Provide Education
- Improve Sanitation
- Assist in Agricultural Development

The Ratanak Foundation began working in Cambodia in 1990, when fear was palpable and international isolation was almost complete. Brian McConaghy, Founding Director of the Ratanak Foundation, first visited the Cambodian refugee camps in Thailand in 1989. What he witnessed appalled him! A subsequent visit to Cambodia revealed conditions worse than those in the camps. Many projects have been undertaken since 1990 and have resulted in both Canadian and Cambodian national awards.
The Ratanak Foundation finances and monitors carefully selected projects each year and produces a regular newsletter to keep supporters fully informed. The Ratanak Foundation keeps administrative costs to a minimum, thus maximizing our resources for projects in Cambodia.
