CESO (Cambodian Elder Support Organization) is building communities from the ground up. We started to fund this small Cambodian organization in 2004. It is made up of Cambodian church elders who were originally going without meals in order to help the destitute and elderly around them. Financing this work has been a joy. With Ratanak funding, the "Elder Care" project has developed into a nutrition, home visitation, exercise, and shelter-building program that has given life back to many lonely elderly who had been abandoned to die. From this work developed a skills training program for widows and a school for children who would never have had a chance of affording the normal, five cents a day, school fees. Other funding has provided for sanitation, well-digging and irrigation.
