Before 1975, Toul Sleng was a high school. When the Khmer Rouge took over Pol Pot's security forces remade it into Security Prison 21 (S-21). Over 17,000 people were taken to S-21 to be interrogated and tortured. They were then taken to the concentration camp at Choeung Ek to be executed. Below are just a few of the thousands of victims who suffered at Toul Sleng.
